The Farm

The farm began with our first goat in 2011. She was a reward for finding a neighbors lost dog and I was determined to make a milker out of her. I quickly learned that she was a mountain goat and began looking for a true milk goat. Next I stumbled upon a friend with a Boer (meat breed) goat and was convinced that she would be good enough. I got one quart a day of fresh milk and I was enamored. Since then our herd has grown to 25 goats. I am committed to improving the herds traits for premium milk production, health and good behavior. Each goat gets a name and becomes part of our Creamery family.

Every farm needs its full complement of animals and ours is no different. We have several working farm dogs, 2 mouse hunting cats, and six chickens.
